After a short walk through the historic center, we arrive at our professional cooking studio where the magic begins. Learn to shake your own authentic Pisco Sour or prepare a refreshing Chicha Morada. Then, put on your apron to prepare a sophisticated tasting menu: craft a velvety Mashwa Cream, master the art of the perfect Ceviche Trio, and assemble a traditional Rocoto Relleno. To finish, enjoy the feast you have created in our elegant dining room. It is not just lunch it is a celebration of Peruvian culture plated by your own hands.
This cooking class takes place entirely in Cusco city center at approximately 3,400m (11,155ft). The activity involves minimal physical exertion mostly standing during cooking and walking at the market. No altitude concerns for this experience, though we recommend being acclimatized to Cusco before any activity.

Absolutely not! Our cooking classes are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced home cooks. Our professional chefs provide step-by-step guidance throughout the entire process. You'll be surprised at what you can create!
Yes! Please inform us about any dietary restrictions or allergies when booking. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other dietary requirements. For private classes, we can fully customize the menu to your needs.
Our shared group classes typically start at 9:00 AM for the morning session (ending around 1:30 PM). We may also offer evening sessions starting at 5:00 PM. Private classes can be scheduled at flexible times to suit your itinerary.
Yes! Cooking classes are a wonderful family activity. Children of all ages are welcome and usually have a fantastic time. For private classes, we can adjust the menu and activities to be more kid-friendly. We recommend private classes for families with young children.
Our standard menu includes: Pisco Sour cocktail (or Chicha Morada), Mashwa Cream (Andean tuber soup), Ceviche Trio with three different marinades, Rocoto Relleno with native potato cake, and an exotic fruit dessert. Private classes can customize the menu.
We meet at the main entrance of San Pedro Market, the iconic central market of Cusco. The exact meeting point will be sent in your confirmation email. The market is located just a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, easily accessible by taxi or on foot.
Yes! Every participant receives a recipe booklet with all the dishes prepared during the class, including the Pisco Sour recipe. You'll also receive a cooking class certificate as a memento of your Peruvian culinary adventure.
We can absolutely accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets! Peru has an incredible variety of plant-based ingredients. Let us know when booking, and our chef will prepare vegetable ceviche, stuffed peppers with quinoa, and other delicious plant-based alternatives.
Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little messy. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for the market visit and kitchen safety. We provide aprons during the cooking class. Avoid loose sleeves that might get in the way.
